Individual Therapy

Let’s be real.

Taking the first step to participate in therapy can be super intimidating, especially if you come from a family or community who has held a negative stigma about mental health care and frowns on sharing “all your business” with a stranger.

I get it. I’ve been there. But hear me out - it can be so worth it.

When you are ready to try it, I would love to meet you and show you how therapy can transform your day to day life.

What to Expect

At this time I am offering virtual telehealth sessions Mondays-Thursdays and 1x per week Walk & Talk Sessions to folks 18+ who live in Massachusetts.

Virtual telehealth sessions are incredibly convenient where you can hop into your session from home, work, your car, or any other quiet and private space.

Walk & Talk (or Ecotherapy) sessions involve us meeting a local park to walk or sit together outside during our therapy session. Outdoor sessions can be a unique and healing way to invite fresh air, movement, nature, and outdoor mindfulness into our therapy conversations and reflections.

During our individual weekly (or bi-weekly) 50-minute sessions I provide an empowering, confidential, and judgement-free space for you to process what’s on your mind, tune into your strengths, and learn ways to regulate your mind and body. While you will have the opportunity to identify your own personalized goals for therapy, it is always my intention for you to increase your self-awareness and embrace all of your unique identities during and between our sessions.

Learn more about me and my approach on the Meet Aliese page.

How to Get Started

The first step to connect for therapy sessions is by completing my Therapy Interest Form. Once I receive your information I will assess our suitability to work together and if my skills and our availability match, I will contact you to schedule a 15-minute phone consultation. During the call I can answer any questions you may have and chat about the next steps to get started.

Rates.

15 min Phone Consultation | free

50 min Individual (virtual) Therapy Session | $150

I currently only accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. Copay amounts may vary.

I am happy to provide a superbill for Out of Network insurance reimbursement, if needed.

The Good Faith Estimate

Under the Public Health Service Act you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health services will cost. Under this law, health care providers must provide clients who do not have health insurance or who are not using health insurance with an estimate of the bill for their non-emergency anticipated services. At Liberated Light Counseling, all self-pay clients will receive this estimate. As a therapy client, if you receive a bill that is $400 or more than the estimate you are provided, please let me know as soon as possible because you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
