So glad you’re here.

Welcome to Liberated Light Counseling.

I’m Aliese, a Boston-based psychotherapist (LICSW) who’s passionate about improving the mental wellness of BIPOC millennials through healing-centered and culturally responsive therapy and clinical supervision.

My Approach

It’s time to change the narrative and break the stigma about mental health and healing in the BIPOC community.

I’m dedicated to sharing my clinical skills and knowledge with you so that you can experience liberation from your doubts, anxieties, insecurities, and the traumatic impacts of “isms”. Through our therapeutic relationship, I empower you to elevate your strengths, lean on your community, gain clarity about your purpose, learn practical skills, identify what’s holding you back, and take valuable steps towards mental wellness.

Services

  • Individual Therapy

  • Therapeutic Groups

  • Clinical Supervision

Individual Therapy

I am especially passionate about supporting the mental health and wellness of people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Millennials (ages 25-40) who struggle with anxiety disorders, identity formation, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, self-compassion, microaggressions, relationships, and/or imposter syndrome.

If you’re hoping to find a therapist who genuinely accepts all of your identities, customizes each session to support your unique needs, highlights your strengths, and empowers you to become the best version of yourself, let’s connect.

Therapeutic Groups

Inspired by the actions that sustained many of our ancestors, I am passionate about offering group therapy because it centers collective healing and the concept of lifting each other up while simultaneously leaning on each other for the solidarity and support that are required for holistic wellness.

Join me as I facilitate therapeutic groups designed to help normalize your challenging experiences and create an empowering space to learn skills that support your mental health in community with others.

Clinical Supervision

Whether you are a student, are pursuing your LICSW/LMHC hours in Massachusetts, or maybe you already hold your independent license and are looking for case consultation and professional accountability - I am passionate about mentoring and supporting the growth of my BIPOC colleagues.

If you’re craving clinical supervision from a BIPOC clinician who prioritizes equity and inclusion in mental health, supports your professional development, and helps you sustain your passion as a clinician, I would love to work together.
